Spas in Istanbul

In Istanbul, the spa often means the hammam. Çinili Hamam pairs its traditional bath with a museum of hammam culture, remnants of Iznik tiles and a Byzantine cistern. In Eminönü, Cağaloğlu keeps separate sections for men and women beneath a grand dome, while Çukurcuma runs a mixed hammam for a handful of guests.
