The Dubai Christmas Festival 2013

CHRISTMAS In December 2013, the Dubai Christmas Festival was launched and surpassed the expected number of visitors with over 22,000 visitors over the course of three day courses. Given the success of the previous year, the festive event will return again this year from the 5th to 7th December, 2013.

The three day festival, which will take place at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, will offer a wide range of activities, exhibitors and workshops. Keeping in theme with other Christmas markets around the world, the festival will bring Christmas spirit and festive cheer to Dubai with a Winter Wonderland, Santa's Grotto, a varied Christmas market and a great choice of Christmas workshops that will offer; gift ideas, tree decorating tips, arts and crafts and table setting ideas. This year the festival will also offer a fairground, an ice rink and gingerbread house making. 

The festival will also a number of exhibitors with Christmas exclusives and a tree lighting ceremony, as well as a Peter Pan and Tinkerbell panto sponsered by Lindt. There are over 14 restaurants and cafes on site that will be offering special deals and lunch time menu's and a host of musical shows, such as the Dubai Choir. 

Tickets stard at AED 25 for children under 12 and AED 50 for adults, which can also be purchased at the door for an additional AED 10.
