The Atelier Festival Returns

MUSIC FESTIVAL The Middle East’s biggest musical festival returns for the next edition, at the Meydan Racecourse, this time it promises to be bigger and better!

The Atelier Festival, first established in April 2012, was a joint collaboration by the Alchemy Project and Meydan and was attended by various stars performing live together, including; Ne-Yo, Jay Sean, Natasha Bedingfield, Sugababes and DJ Edward Maya. The huge success of the event led organizers to plan an even bigger star studded next edition, this edition’s line up is sending a wave of excitement throughout the UAE. 

The October edition will be headlined by American Rapper, Entrepreneur and music legend, 50 Cent, who will appear on stage with the rest of the G-Unit team. The multi-million record selling artist, who has topped billboard charts numerous times, says “I’m excited to be headlining the Atelier Festival in October, It’s been great working with the Alchemy Project, I love visiting Dubai.”

The next hip-hop legend to be taking the stage will be Nelly, as one of the biggest record- selling American artists; this will be Nelly’s first time performing in the region. R’n’B Singing sensation, Ciara will be lighting up the stage with her chart-topping hits, Soulful pop Diva Duffy, who will also be performing in the Middle East for the first time, will be wowing the audience with her biggest selling hits Mercy and Warwick Avenue.

Other stars joining the line-up include Brit-singer, Craig David, Eva Simons, SkyBlu from LMFAO and DJ Antoine will be playing a set at the Festival after-party. 

This edition’s program is very much centered on a more urban vibe, with hiphop, RnB and dance taking centre stage and will produce some of the biggest live stage performances. Founder of the Atelier Festival, Mac S. Far promises this edition will be “An experience of a lifetime!”

The Atelier Festival will be taking place on Friday 19th October, 2012, at the Meydan Racecourse in Nad Al Sheba.
