Beirut Fashion Week, 2013
One of the city's most anticipated events is back and ready to offer a glitzy, star-studded show, presenting the cream of the fashion world.
Known as one of the biggest fashion events in Lebanon and the Middle East region, Beirut Fashion Week comes but once a year to introduce the latest fashions and the new crop of designers to the public in a glamorous event.
This officially recognized Fashion Week not only attracts the biggest faces from the Arab world but is widely covered in the International press and is often visited by top international models, designers, magazine editors and influential people in the industry. The capital of Lebanon has, in recent years, become known as the leading fashion capital in the Arab world. Beirut, often referred to as the Paris of the Middle East, is a bustling, cosmopolitan city that has provided the perfect setting for new and existing talent in the field of fashion design, with rising stars having emerged from this melting pot of art and culture, making it a city to watch on every Fashionista's list.
This year the event will start off with an International press conference, followed by a cocktail party, the next day there will be a charity contribution fashion show, hosting Lebanese designers and European designers, attended by VIP guests and media guests. The following days will offer two fashion shows on each day, one at 6pm and the second at 9pm, each ending with a cocktail reception. Details of the event will soon be released by organizers of Beirut Fashion Week.
