The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition

HERITAGE Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamden bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Abu Dhabi hunting and Equestrian Exhibition is a revered trade event in the city for weaponry, equestrian and outdoor sports activities.

This exhibition, supported by the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture authority was first launched in 2003 and has since grown to become the leading event for the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage and the values the UAE's foundations were built upon. The event is a perfect outlet for exhibitor's to present new products and conduct demonstrations, as well as promoting their brands. 

The event attracts over 100, 00 visitors to the exhibition, including key international figures, trade buyers and the general public in the GCC region, as well as members of the Royal family. The show will feature an Equestrian show, a camel auction, art and photography exhibitions, Folklore dances, Arabic coffee brewing competitions, a poetry competition, a cultural heritage village, a Falcon beauty contest and a number of activities designed for children. 

The tradition of hunting is deeply ingrained in Emirati culture and has been a common sporting practice for generations. The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition's main goal has been to honour this tradition and promote the rich heritage of the UAE on an international level. 

The event will take place from the 4th September to 7th September, 2013 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
